“Reason is a whore, the greatest enemy that faith has.” – Martin Luther

Martin Luther didn’t have much good to say about reason.  He likened reason to the Devil’s bride, a “pretty whore” that comes in and thinks she’s wise in what she says and that her words come from Providence.  And indeed we treat reason like a whore using her to support our twisted logic and bolster our world view.

This is the kind of post that makes me want to sit down with you over tea and have a very long conversation. I never know what to expect from you.

Very few people are coherent in their reasoning, and flutter like butterflies from one end of a spectrum to the next in order to make a point… What they fail to see is that the observant person notices discrepancies..

Now you’ve got me thinking…

A long coversation with you would be great, perhaps between us we could really find out how deep the rabbit hole goes.

…and thinking is good

no hard stone facts for me…it could very well that you Clay and Anndi are a creation of my imaginative and fertile mind! ummm xox

Clay dear.. I don’t know if we can, but it would be a joy to try and find out!

Tisha.. Oh we’re real flesh and bone darling! 😉

Anndi – …let me count the ways!! and if you want to know the ways ask Tisha as she seems to have direct access to my inner most dreams and fantasy…
