How much stuff do you have in your house or flat? If you’re anything like the average person, you’ll have about 300,000 items. I’m pretty sure we have twice that amount. What if you could only have 150 items, which ones would you keep?

Don’t think it can be done?

Well check out this man from Japan, Fumio Sasaki:

As he told Reuters, “Spending less time on cleaning or shopping means I have more time to spend with friends, go out, or travel on my days off. I have become a lot more active.”

Challenge accepted!

Well, ok, maybe not 150 items, but certainly I can accept the challenge to reduce the amount of stuff I have. Heck, we still have boxes in the attic that we never really unpacked since we moved to England 16 years ago!

Here’s an article you may enjoy on lessening how much stuff you have and how it can bring you joy.

Wowser! Great article.

I have crates of stuff in my loft that travel with me from loft to loft! I have suits for different work projects!!! This weekend I will diligently clear out everything I can from my bedroom to my loft it may not be down to 150 items but I will be close. Love the reuse your shirt and the water and CO2 emissions…so will also do this.

Thank you Soulcruzer
